City Museum: The city museum is a unit that visually presents the history of the city. It aims to contribute to the urban consciousness of the people of İzmir with the exhibitions in which the information to be produced in the city archive is used .
The city archive aims to preserve historical and traditional values meticulously.

• CHATEAU LIBRARY
Chateau library is the first digital library established to provide all kinds of resources to izmir through electronic media. This library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week .There are 1200 Turkish and 500 English books in this library.

• BOOK MOBİLE ( MOBİLE LIBRARY)
Two buses belonging to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality were prepared as libraries in order to facilitate the access of everyone from 7 to 70 years old and to improve the habit of reading books. Tablets and internet access are provided in mobile libraries around the villages, research and reading services are provided in the digital library.
There are 1000 books in each mobile library and 2 books are lent to members for 21 day.
• HAVAGAZI YOUTH RESEARCH LIBRARY
Associate degree , undergraduate and graduate students can use the library by getting an appointment on gencizmir.com 64 people (limited to 20 people during the pandemic period) can benefit at the same time. The research library has 8 computers and 20 tablets to access digital databases, e-books and e-journals.
There are Philosophy Database, Torossa Mediterranean Studies Database, journals and 3672 e-books as Turkish available to researchers in the library.

• AHMET PİRİŞTİNA FERRY LIBRARY
It is the first ferry library in Turkey.
There are 550 Turkish books in the library.

Weekdays: 08:30 – 17:30 (The library is open to use when moored at the pier, except for ferry services.)
• FETHİ SEKİN FERRY LIBRARY
There are 400 Turkish books in the ferryboat library.
